Ah yes. It will soon be that time of the year again. New clothes in the closet, labels on school supplies, fresh paper in binders and eager minds ready to learn! 
My two are excited to go back to school this year. Mikayla said she’s looking forward to it as it gets her one year closer to graduation. (I hear ya, kiddo!)

I no longer have kids in public school (one at SFU) but today seeing all the parents frantically shopping for back to school clothes, shoes and supplies I had a little giggle to myself remembering the “staples” commercial that was always played about this time of year. You know the one with the Dad happily singing “it’s the most wonderful time of the year” and filling up the cart with supplies while the kids sat looking anything but thrilled! lol! A new school year begins, good luck and look both ways when you cross the street!
