Day #1 RCMP Youth Camp

Thank you to Drake Dennison and Kyle McPherson (both cadets from last year’s camp) and to Mr. Parkes as well for their videoing and editing skills. They will keep us all updated and informed on the happenings of the Youth Camp for the next few days!

You will notice some familiar faces from last year’s Youth Camp – Master Corporal Davies and Cpl. Steve Hiscoe, as well as Cst. Chad Murray who transferred out of Gold River last year. Also at the camp again this year, Cst. Devine, Cst. Fergusson, Sgt. Fiddler and Miranda Hutchinson. Cst. Koutougos and Cst. Ryan, currently stationed in Gold River, are also at the camp as Troop Leaders.

VSO BBQ & Bake Sale

Gold River Secondary Students will be holding a BBQ & Bake Sale April 5th at 3:30pm to raise money for the annual Vancouver Symphony Orchestra trip. Please come to the plaza on Thursday and support our students!

Jr. Girls Basketball Bingo Fundraiser

The Jr. Girls Basketball team are fundraising to go the Jr. All Native Tournament in Port Alberni March 18-23, 2012.

There will be a Bingo fundraiser on Sunday, March 12th at the COC Room in the MMFN Administration Building Tsaxana starting at 6:00pm. Cost is $10.00 for a 6 UP package, and $15.00 for a 9 UP package.

Please come out and support our MMFN Jr. Girls!
