The next Kids Club Party is in Campbell River this Saturday (May 1st)!

The bus leaves here around 8:30am and comes back around 4:00pm, you MUST get a waiver form first!

Gold River Sprockids

SPROCKIDS – Come Ride With Us!

We will be running a six-week session of the Sprockids mountain bike skills program.

Time: Fridays 3:30 – 4:30 or 5:00 depending on weather and ride.

Dates: May 7 through June 11.

Place: Meet in the RWES field.

RWES Arts Fringe Festival

Ray Watkins Elementary School has been planning a community/school arts festival during BC Arts and Culture Week.

They have 16 or so guest mentors from the community volunteering to come in and work with groups of kids every afternoon for the week and then will be having a community celebration/fringe

Youth Centre a great success

The new Thrive Youth Centre has seen a great couple of weekends so far with many local youth and teens hanging out, playing games and having a great time together.

One local resident caught me in the Super Valu the other day and during our conversation she suggested that the Youth Centre be renamed ‘The Vault’.
