Gold River resident Christine O’Neil is organizing a Farmers Market for this Summer. The market will operate on the last Saturday of June, July & August between the hours of 9am-1pm. A centrally located spot within the community center is currently being determined and will be announced at a later date.
She is seeking out potential ‘farmers’ who are interested in providing produce, and really wishes to establish a ‘home grown, home made, home crafted’ philosophy for the market – heavy on the produce! Christine will be gathering successful basic gardening tips and info from our local garden society ‘The Ladybugs’, as well as other successful growers to share.

Awesome Idea! Sky is the limit. Include open flea market/buy and sell tables, vendors, and food vendors. Make it big and advertise all over the island. Remember if you build it, they will come!
Great idea – lots of very crafty people and great gardeners in Gold River. Will give them a chance to show off their skills.
