The idea of a car wash stared with Willy McCallister and his roofing crew. Yesterday morning Willy proposed the idea to his crew of doing a car wash/ice tea stand to raise money for the fire victims. All the guys thought that it was a great idea, and a good way to cool off. At 2pm we were quickly overwhelmed with all of the people and dirty cars stopping by! A lot of fun was had by all that were involved.
We were able to raise $3600! Way to go Gold River, you outdid yourselves again!
All the money raised was dispersed to the families that were displaced by the fire. We could have not done this with out the help from the following people:
Willy, Kerry, Adam, Kyle & Dannika McCallister (who hosted the car wash and iced tea stand.)
