Gold River Days 2016!

What a fantastic weekend it was, the weather was perfect, well maybe a little hot.

It takes many people and a lot of their time to put together such a great event. If it wasn’t for all the volunteers this event could not have happened.

I would like to recognize and thank each of them for organizing all of the very important activities that made the weekend so successful.

GR Days Program – GR Chamber of Commerce & Sheila Millard
Family movie night – Literacy Centre
Slow Pitch Ball Tourney – Michelle Frame
Wood to Wonder Chainsaw Carving competition – Sharon Charette for organizing this huge event again this year.Also Village of Gold River, WFP, and GR Lions Club for Co – Sponsoring this event

Some very hard working helpers who did whatever Sharon asked for and much more, Rick, Terrie, Marc, Veanna, Maddison, Kirsty, Lynne. And the Carvers, without out you this would not happen, Ryan, Angela, Kevin, Randy, Liam, Adam, Doug, Mike. We hope to see all of you next year!

Village of Gold River Staff and workers for all their help again this year, help with the wood, greasy pole, clean up and for making our town look so nice everyday not just on this weekend.

Lisa Mellis Jones! For everything you did organizing GR Days again this year. You ROCK! THANKS SO MUCH! I can’t wait until next year.
