I would like to thank everyone who helped make our first Family Ride a success.

With all your help and participation we managed to raise $283.25 for the Gold River Volunteer Fire Dept. This was from the entry fee for the Ride, donations and the BBQ.

There were 16 registered riders and two volunteer riders. For those of you who would like to join us next year you have 364 days to get ready for Family Ride 2017.

The Winners of the random prize draw for the Family Bike Ride were:

• Flemming Alstrup
• Kathy Durante
• Vicky Ruterberg

They each receive a bike light.
