I for one am very happy to hear that the Gold River Skating Club will be doing a bottle drive on Monday February 8th.
Good lord, my garage can’t hold any more empties! (all pop and juice – I swear!) Having done many bottle drives in the past, I can say with certainty that it’s much easier (and faster) to have your empties out on the curb in advance for easy pick-up. I always like to put mine out in the afternoon, and then it reminds the neighbours to do the same. And if you want to be REALLY nice, feel free to separate the alcohol and non-alcohol returns.
Coach Debbie also wants everyone to know that the GRSC Winter Carnival will be held on Friday, February 19th, and would like to encourage all of Gold River to come out and support this event and our local skaters! Mark your calendars – they put on a wonderful show! 
I believe the carnival is the 19th!!Double check with Deb but the ninth is a Tuesday. I was in a meeting with her when we discussed the day…
