Via Travis Lapointe:

A HUGE thank you to everyone in our community who helped put on a great P.A.R.T.Y. (Prevention of Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) program for the GRSS senior students this week.

Having the RCMP, Fire, Paramedics, Health Unit, and the School District involved helped the students understand how important the issue is and also how much we all care for them. The students had great things to say about the day even though it was challenging for some of them to see and hear such an honest portrayal of the potential consequences of their actions. As one of the Fire department put it, it’s worth it if it saves one. Let’s hope they all make good choices and help those around them to do the same.
