New RCMP member for Nootka Sound

In September the Gold River RCMP said goodbye to Cst. Allan Erickson and welcomed Cst. Andrew Lockhart to the Nootka Sound Detachment.

Cst. Lockhart is originally from the East Coast, but has spent the last five years with his wife and two small children in Calgary.

Andrew and his wife Desiree both grew up in small towns, so Gold River must be a wonderful sight after the big (flat) city!

We welcome them both to Gold River, and wish them many happy years here.
