How long have you lived in Gold River? What brought you here?
I moved here to Gold River in October of 2005. I moved here with my spouse Rachel Mark, after her uncle passed away.
What do you do for (paid) work?
I work at the Irly Building Centre here in Gold River. I’m a yardman/salesperson.
Please tell us about any volunteer work you do.
I like to volunteer at the high school and elementary schools. I teach the kids to make drums and also carvings, and do some singing.
Please tell us a bit about your family.
I was born in Espranza, raised in Kyuquot and then lived in Tahsis for 8 or 9 years. I lived in Campbell River from 1983 until 2005 when we moved here to Gold River. I have eight children (4 boys, 4 girls) and eight grandchildren.
Do you have any pets?
No pets.
What do you like to do for fun?
Basketball, culture singing and being with my family.
What do you wish Gold River had that it doesn’t? Is there anything missing for you?
A McDonald’s!! LOL 
And just for fun – if you were invisible, where would you go / what would you do?
I don’t know. I’m happy where I am.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
I like living in Gold River better than Campbell River. I am happy here now.
