I am Sherri Evans, Jen Evans mom who was also part of the terrible fire in which so many were affected. I just wanted to thank the community of Gold River for all their kinds words and support to our family. What a caring and wonderful community you are!
From the fire fighters, to the cafe “Clay Works” who generously offered free food, to all the volunteers, support workers, people who put on the fund raisers and all the businesses that helped out. THANK YOU! I would like to send a special thanks to Jenna, Shawn and Shawn’s mom April for opening your doors to us and making us feel so welcome in your homes. I would also like to thank Shaun Mason for taking such good care of Jenny’s mom and little Brandon, Jen’s little brother!
