I would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You!
Thank you to all those friends & family who came to witness us celebrate the joyous occasion of our wedding ceremony on July 20th in Friendly Cove. It was the most magical, amazing experience…. I loved every minute. I am still floating on a cloud. Dale’s mom, father-in-law, sister & her family came from Fort St. John to join us. We also had my dear brother Gary Hartford & his wonderful & gorgeous family from Campbell River come & join us as well. I know & understand how far it was to go to join us in such an event, but I would have never gotten married anywhere else ever.
Thank you to my cousin Darrell Williams Sr. for coming from Friendly Cove in the morning to help get people to & from. Also to Kevin Robinson for having a boat available. Thank you to my brother Pat for driving Max’s Water Taxi.
Thank you to Rick Linholm & to Earl Johnson for coming all the way to do the wedding ceremony. I truly appreciate it. Thank you to Michael Drechser, who’s company designed & made our custom wedding bands. Thank you to Emerson & Mandy for taking all our pictures for the whole day. I cannot wait to see them all. I truly appreciate it.
Special, special Thank you to Margarita James who donated her time & spectacular gift of cooking to cater our Reception (as her gift to our wedding) I was blown away. The meal was absolutely delicious. Thank you to her son Salvador James for helping… that was amazing of you.
Thank you to my nephews & my kids & my lil’ sis Nina for helping set up the hall. It was so nice when it was all done. Thank you to Stefani for making us that delicous 2-tier cake. It was the discussion all through dessert. Thank you to Wendy for doing my hair, as well as my girls hair. The look as a whole was gorgeous. Thank you to Sheila Bugar for the music. Thank you to Vienna & Jerry from the Lions Club for doing the Bar during the evening. Thank you to my niece Michelle who made next day’s clean up easier by picking up throughout the evening of. Thank you to my son Jay Little & to my husband’s parents for helping with clean up.
The whole day was the most amazing ever. We had two eagles fly over Dale & Rick as they stood & watched me & Pat walk to them. It was the most breath-taking sign I could have gotten that day. He flew right over us again when our two families were standing together for a family photo. I loved it. The weather was magnificent. Blue skies, a little wind, no fog. The ride there & back was a little bumpy but we all survived.
I was so very happy & becoming Mrs. Dale Wilson that day was the best thing that happened, and I feel that the blessing as well as the presence of my father was with us on that day. I could never have asked for more. My auntie Terry told me she could feel my cousin Sharon was sitting right there with them. If that was so, Thank you. I love & miss her so very much. She was my best friend, my amigo. Life was not the same when she left… but if she was there to witness as well. I know that I will truly be the happiest for as long as we both shall live. Dale is my best friend, my companion, my rock. Becoming his wife made me so beyond the happy we have shared for the past 15 years…. I now hope & pray for this right now for the next 15. It is so much more than before.
