Structure Fire
On Wednesday January 30th, 2019 the Nootka Sound RCMP assisted the Gold River Fire Department with a report of a structure fire at 601 Matchlee Drive in Gold River. A male occupant of the residence was transported to the Gold River Medical Clinic with non-life threatening injuries by EHS. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing which appears to be accidental in nature.
