The RCMP was advised of a cougar sighting in the 400 block of Cedar Crescent yesterday evening and was last seen walking toward Nimpkish Park. Patrols were made but the cougar was not located and the British Columbia Conservation Service has been made aware as well. Further patrols are being made in an attempt to locate the cougar and the RCMP and Conservation Service are asking residents to remain vigilant when out with children and pets.
