The Nootka Sound RCMP is investigating the theft of a  from a boat that was trailered and parked at 51 Strange Road in Tahsis.   The motor was last seen on the morning of June 16th and discovered stolen later that afternoon having been removed from the rear of the boat.  The motor had a silver propeller guard on it, equipped with an electric start and electric tilt.  The serial number of the motor is OR239204.  If anyone has information to the whereabouts of the stolen motor or who may have stolen it is asked to contact the Nootka Sound RCMP at 250-283-2227 or CrimeStoppers at 800-222-8477.
