BC Conservation and the Nootka Sound RCMP spent yesterday attempting to locate the cougar but were unsuccessful in locating the animal. RCMP and BC Conservation are asking residents to remain vigilant in keeping pets and children close at all times. If you see the cougar please call the BC Conservation immediately at 1-877-952-7277. This is not a recorded line and you will be able to speak to an operator and provide details about the animals location.
